Social events
In 2022 we held a Piano Recital at The Lansdowne Club sponsored by The Albert Suites, an Informal Dinner at the Oxford and Cambridge Club sponsored by Saunderson House both held in March, an Evening at the English National Opera sponsored by Mayo Clinic Healthcare in April, Dr Neil Haughton’s President’s Dinner sponsored by The Doctors Laboratory in May, a Day at Windsor Races sponsored by Trust Payments in August, an Appraiser Social in September, the IDF Study Weekend sponsored by Pharmacierge, Schoen Clinic and Mayo Clinic Healthcare in November, an IDF Christmas Party at The Medical Society of London sponsored by Saunderson House, and a jazz themed Christmas Celebration sponsored by Moorfields Eye Hospital both held
in December. This year Dr Phil Batty’s President’s Dinner was held in February, again sponsored by The Doctors Laboratory. We held a Wine and Food, the Do’s and Don’ts of Pairing with Stephen Clark, sponsored by Moorfields Eye Hospital, in February and the IDF Better late than never - A fireside with Phil and Lloyd: Coming out in personal and professional life, sponsored by Dr Sophia Khalique Medical Practice Marylebone, in March.
The last year has brought renewed confidence and we were certainly busy with a plethora of events from social to educational, ending the year with a superb IDF Study Weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon.
We also continued with online events for those unable to make it face-to-face, and we will continue to organise these in the future.
We are especially thankful to the Corporate Members who participated and sponsored these events.

Education events
We held 38 webinars, primarily delivered by our members, with 10 webinars delivered by our Corporate Members
– The Good Care Group, Moorfields Private Eye Hospital, Penn Medicine, Smart TMS, Priory Private Healthcare, PronoKal UK, Queen Square Private Healthcare, Access to Healthcare and Trust Payments.
We also held Appraiser Drop-in sessions, Appraiser Review Workshops, Appraiser Training sessions, Basic Life Support Training sessions for members, IDF Spring Symposium - Autoimmunity: Bench-side to Bedside sponsored by Pindrop Hearing, Complaints Handling Workshop sponsored by Hill Dickinson, and the virtual Black History Month Quiz Night.
