Join us for an enlightening webinar in honour of Black History Month, where we will delve into the pressing issue of ethnic health disparities and the unique challenges faced by healthcare practitioners of different ethnicities.

Hosted by Dr Itunu Johnson-Sogbetun, a GP and award-nominated health equity advocate, this event aims to shed light on the systemic barriers that contribute to unequal healthcare outcomes and explore effective strategies to foster a more equitable healthcare system. 

Through personal insights and engaging discussions, she will equip attendees with actionable knowledge to help bridge the gap in health disparities and support a diverse healthcare workforce. Together, let’s work towards a future where everyone has access to quality healthcare regardless of their ethnic background.

Dr Itunu Johnson-Sogbetun MBBS BSc MRCP MRCGP DFSRH DRCOG:

Dr Itunu Johnson-Sogbetun is an experienced General Practitioner with over a decade in clinical practice, specialising in women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, and menopause care. With a background in general internal medicine, she delivers holistic and personalised care in both the NHS and private sectors. Passionate about health equity, she leads the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion strategy for the RCGP North West London Faculty Board and founded HEAL for Black People to educate and advocate for the Black community. Dr Johnson-Sogbetun also serves as a GP tutor and examiner at Queen Mary’s University of London Medical School.
