Hosted by Dr Itunu Johnson-Sogbetun, a GP and award-nominated health equity advocate, this event aims to shed light on the systemic barriers that contribute to unequal healthcare outcomes and explore effective strategies to foster a more equitable healthcare system. 

Through personal insights and engaging discussions, she will equip attendees with actionable knowledge to help bridge the gap in health disparities and support a diverse healthcare workforce. Dr Itunu Johnson-Sogbetun MBBS BSc MRCP MRCGP DFSRH DRCOG:

Dr Itunu Johnson-Sogbetun is an experienced General Practitioner with over a decade in clinical practice, specialising in women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, and menopause care. With a background in general internal medicine, she delivers holistic and personalised care in both the NHS and private sectors. Passionate about health equity, she leads the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion strategy for the RCGP North West London Faculty Board and founded HEAL for Black People to educate and advocate for the Black community. Dr Johnson-Sogbetun also serves as a GP tutor and examiner at Queen Mary’s University of London Medical School.
