IDF Study Weekend in Malta - Sunday Tour of Mdina with optional airport transfer

Join us for an afternoon in Malta’s old capital, Mdina!

Firstly, we will enjoy the views and a glass of prosecco on the rooftop terrace at Bacchus Restaurant. We'll then move down to the garden terrace for a delicious 2-course alfresco lunch, with free flowing wine. 

Following this our guide will take us around the fascinating city of Mdina, where you will see the facades of many beautiful Palaces and the magnificent view from the bastions. 

At 4.30pm there will be an optional transfer to the airport or a transfer back to the hotel. 

About Mdina

Mdina is the old capital city of Malta whose earliest inhabitants date back to 4000 BC. The fortified and walled town is known as the "Silent City" due to its narrow and quiet streets. Commanding a magnificent view of the Island, Mdina maintained a strategic position on the island due to its central location, highest point on the island and its distance from the sea and due to its location can be seen for miles.

Currently only city residents are allowed to bring their cars within the city gates, which leads to the calming effect described by many visitors. Mdina is definitely a pedestrian's paradise.
