Dr Annabel Bentley Appointed as Interim Chair of the Designated Body Quality Assurance Committee

We are pleased to announce that Dr Annabel Bentley has been appointed as the Interim Chair of the newly formed Designated Body Quality Assurance (DBQA) Committee.

As an independent healthcare consultant and a member of the IDF for over nine years, Annabel brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective on the future of independent healthcare. Originally trained as a surgeon in the NHS, she has held prominent roles as Chief Medical Officer and Executive Medical Director at private medical insurers Bupa and AXA Health, as well as independent diagnostic provider InHealth. Annabel has also successfully established and chaired clinical risk committees and led culture change initiatives focused on patient safety.

We are delighted that Annabel has agreed to take on this important role on an interim basis, and we thank her for her valuable work and continued contributions to the IDF.
