Dr Susan Alexander Elected as IDF President Elect

We are delighted to announce that, as of March 2024, Dr Susan Alexander has been elected as the IDF’s President Elect. Dr Alexander will take over the Presidential responsibilities from Dr Philip Batty, who will conclude his successful three-year tenure as President in March 2025.

Dr Alexander is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Fortius Clinic, specialising in shoulder problems for over 20 years. Beyond her clinical practice, she has a strong passion for medical education and holds a Certificate in Adult Education. Dr Alexander regularly engages with her audience on Instagram and LinkedIn, sharing insights on anatomy and self-development to motivate and inspire.

An active member of the IDF for the past five years, Dr Alexander has chaired our Education Committee and played a pivotal role in organising the educational events hosted by the IDF.

We would like to thank Susan for her invaluable contributions as Chair of the Education Committee and wish her many congratulations on her appointment as President Elect.

We look forward to her continued contributions and leadership as she steps into her new role.
