The Functional Gut Clinic

The Functional Gut Clinic (FGC) was founded by Dr Anthony Hobson in 2014, in response to a lack of high-quality diagnostic services for people suffering with GI-related conditions. FGC now has three clinics, in Manchester, London and Cambridge with satellite clinics around the UK.
FGC are the only gastrointestinal physiology service in the UK to receive an IQIPS (Improving Quality in Physiological Services) accreditation – a standard recognised by GPs and a difficult one to obtain. FGC are also inspected by the CQC, the independent regulator. This means FGC adheres to the highest standards and are independently assessed.
